Highlighters Club Mother-Daughter Overnight
In March there was the 7th annual Highlighters Mother-Daughter Overnight at Wynncliff! It was a weekend filled with joy where the moms and daughters learned about the 5 Love Languages, and what is needed to raise strong girls. The girls and moms enjoyed making their Quality Time Activity Holder together, and had another fun year of the signature Mix and Match Fashion Show among other activities!

"The Gift" High School Workshop
A group of moms and young professionals hosted a workshop called “The Gift” for high school girls. Angela Fortunato, a Sherlake staff member that works with our high school programs, presented a work session about the Christian vocation and apostolic mission to the girls, who came from a variety of high schools in the Minneapolis area.

Living With a Sense of Mission Workshop
A group of high scool juniors and seniors from Chicago joined girls from Milwaukee for a workshop on "Living with a Sense of Mission'' at Petawa Cultural Center. The workshop included discussions and talks, time for prayer and reflection, visiting with the residents of Petawa, and lots of time for fun and friendship.

Christmas Open House
Sherlake hosted its annual Christmas Open House on December 21st. Families enjoyed connecting with each other in addition to an inspiring meditation, seasonal treats, and festive caroling. So fun to see a full house!!

Highlighters Heart Warming Holiday Project
Highlighters Club had their annual December service project. This year they wrote letters and prepared thoughtful gifts for the elderly. Then, they went to Amazing Grace Senior Living where they had the privilege of conversing with the residents and delivering the gifts. They ended the visit by singing Christmas Carols!

Patience: Virtue of the Month at Highlighters
Highlighters Moms and Daughters dove into the virtue of patience during the November meeting. While moms had a talk about caring for the small things during the busy season, girls listened to a talk about practicing patience through helping at home.
